Maison Gensac
Art shaped by respect for nature
Nathalie Gensac Dewey
Maison Gensac
a fine Art studio devoted to nature.
It solely represents the work of French-American painter Nathalie Gensac Dewey, whose modern impressionist landscapes are guided by a simple truth: the land leads, and we listen.
The work emerges from a lifelong reverence for nature — particularly trees, which stand as quiet witnesses to time, resilience, and interconnection. The philosophy of the work is one of stewardship rather than ownership. Created to bring stillness into rooms, and balance into our modern lives surrounded by excess.
The work is respectful of nature, because to care for what sustains us is both a responsibility and privilege. Without a healthy planet, nothing else endures. Her work honour that truth.
Fifty percent of proceeds from works inspired by Hawaiʻi are gifted to local organizations dedicated to preserving native flora and fauna. The same commitment applies to works inspired by the South of France, and others, supporting conservation efforts close to those landscapes.
This is art not only to be lived with, but to live by.
